Flexible Working: This is a hybrid working role, therefore your time will primarily be split between working from home (in the UK) and Bracknell Head Office. However, there will also be an expectation to visit other locations as the need arises.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Cloud Solution Architect within our Technology & Change function, you will serve as a strategic architect, bridging the gap between high-level vision and pragmatic delivery. Working closely with our Enterprise Architecture leadership, you will design sustainable, high-impact solutions that drive measurable value across the entire enterprise. We are looking for a collaborative leader who champions modern engineering practices such as Continuous Delivery and AI-driven acceleration while actively mentoring fellow Partners to foster a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence.

Design for Impact: Architect sustainable, high-performance technology solutions that drive measurable business results.

Enterprise-Wide Value: Optimise system architecture to ensure technical decisions deliver tangible benefits across the entire organisation, not just within a single team.

Cultural Leadership: Cultivate a culture of continuous feedback while championing modern engineering practices like Continuous Delivery and fast flow.

Strategic Collaboration: Partner with internal engineers and third-party experts to successfully bridge the gap between high-level architectural vision and practical delivery.

AI-Driven Acceleration: Advocate for and integrate AI-assisted engineering tools to speed up delivery and enhance the quality of technical output throughout the Partnership.
Essential Experience:

Architectural Experience : Proven track record of designing end-to-end solutions across a wide range of change approaches and IT lifecycles.

Modern & Legacy Integration: A proven track record of designing "Cloud-first" architectures and integrating modern SaaS/COTS products with legacy systems like mainframes.

DDD Expertise: Practical experience applying Domain-Driven Design to map complex business capabilities to scalable, decoupled systems.

Strategic Vision: The ability to balance immediate delivery needs with multi-year enterprise goals.
Desirable Skills:

Experience in Retail, E-commerce, or Supply Chain sectors.

Experience working day-to-day with Cloud Platform teams.

Deep familiarity with Cloud vendors like GCP and AWS.

Advocacy for modern engineering practices such as Trunk-Based Development and Continuous Delivery.

Relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/GCP Certified Solutions Architect).
