Portrait of a John Lewis Employee

As a Driver Trainer with a C+E license, you'll have the important job of ensuring all our drivers are of the highest standard and that they represent the John Lewis Partnership brand professionally while out on-the-road in our articulated lorries.

It's a hugely rewarding role as you train, assess and test Partners (including apprentices) and agency drivers to pass our HGV programme, helping them to obtain their own license. You’ll also maintain their ongoing training and keep Partner training records for all Transport Partners.

In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 18:00 - 22:00 will attract an Evening Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour, and any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract a Night Premium at a rate of £4.75 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.
