As an Operational Support Analyst you will drive financial accuracy and process improvement across Central Transport. You will lead reporting for monthly and yearly closures, manage budget forecasting, and oversee cost allocation and fleet analysis. By collaborating with finance business partners and fleet operators, you will provide critical insights to support our strategic financial goals.
In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £4.75 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements.

Working pattern/flexible working : The Partnership has adopted a hybrid working approach, meaning you'll be able to work a mixture between the office and home based upon your personal needs, whilst balancing the needs of the business. We typically aim for around 3 days a week in the office
Hours of Work: 35 hours per week
Salary: £40,000 - £58,500 per annum, depending on skills and experience
Key Responsibilities:
The successful Operational Support Analyst will play a key role in the business critical team which manages the fleet of commercial vehicles and cars. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Providing detailed reporting to facilitate monthly and yearly closure within central finance teams.

Working alongside key stakeholders, including Finance business partnering, fleet operators and workshop managers to establish robust processes to facilitate accurate reporting and process improvement including KPIs across workshops.

Playing a key role in the budgeting and forecasting process across Central Transport.

Manage the vehicle leasing process coordinating between ourselves and our banking partners.

Providing detailed variance analysis and assisting in the coordination yearly budgeting process.

Manage all collation and analysis for Partnership wide cost allocation ensuring central finance teams are in receipt of necessary data in a timely manner.

Coordinating all reporting and analysis for fleet costs across the Partnership.

People Managing two Operational Support Technicians
Essential skills you’ll need:

Intermediate/advanced Google Sheets/Excel skills

Knowledge of budgeting and providing key management information.

Knowledge of fleet operations including vehicle workshops & KPIs

Knowledge of vehicle leasing processes

People Management experience
Desirable skills:

Knowledge of Key2 fleet management application

Knowledge of car schemes including company cars and Employee car ownership schemes
