Our Distribution and Warehouse Operatives are at the heart of our operations and are key to the Partnership’s success. Providing our customers with the best quality foods is all about getting it to the right place, at the right time, in the right conditions.
With over 348 Waitrose & Partners shops across the UK it’s no mean feat, but join our distribution operation and you’ll be helping to keep our supermarket and customer’s shelves stocked all across the UK. As an intrinsic part of the John Lewis Partnership, you’ll be able to enjoy our unique benefits, as well as training and development programmes.
There are three Waitrose & Partners Regional Distribution Centres (RDCs) across the UK, located in Bracknell, Aylesford and Leyland.
All three sites operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week to provide our customers with the high-quality produce that they expect from us. You’ll also find a Transport department and a Vehicle Workshop at these locations too.
Each day at our warehouses presents new, unique, and exciting tasks for our Warehouse Partners. Therefore, we offer a wide variety of Distribution Centre jobs to suit all levels of experience and skillsets. In our warehouses, you’ll work closely with the other Warehouse Assistant Partners to get deliveries ready to go out to our supermarkets. You’ll also work alongside other Partners such as Managers, Drivers, Administrators and other members of Supply Chain Operations and Logistics.

As a Warehouse Partner, if you bring all of this then we’ll give you all the training and development you need to have a bright future with us, with potential pathways into Team Leadership, Management and Operations careers, or lateral shifts to try out different jobs in other areas of John Lewis & Partners and Waitrose & Partners.
