Our customers want what they want, when and where they want it. And it’s our job to get it to them. It’s what our distribution operation is all about. It’s a large and complicated task, only possible through the dedication and hard work of our distribution teams. And it’s where our Drivers come into their own.
Getting our goods from our warehouses to our stores and customers is without doubt one of the most important parts of our business. And we have a variety of delivery vehicles driving up and down the country making sure it happens.
Our Central Transport division owns over 2,300 commercial vehicles, including approximately 500 tractor units, 700 customer delivery vehicles. The remainder is made up of delivery and service vans. We also have vehicle workshops on-site in Bracknell, Blakelands and Northampton. So, as you can imagine, we recruit a wide range of driving roles to keep it all running smoothly. Our Waitrose LGV Driver roles can be based in Bracknell, Aylesford or Leyland distribution centres.
You’ll need an LGV1 C+E driving licence to drive our highly recognisable lorries, delivering goods from our various distribution centres to our stores all over the UK. You’ll also need a valid DCPC (Drivers Qualification Card) and a Valid Tachograph Card. View and apply our LGV Driver vacancies here.
