About our chef jobs

Our team of chefs serve up delicious seasonal dishes at locations across the UK. From our Place-To-Eat restaurants in John Lewis stores to our exclusive Partner dining rooms, we pride ourselves on crafting the highest quality meals.

The work of our chefs is vital in delivering the UK’s largest in-house catering offering. If you share their cooking skills and passion for great food, we’ll love you to join us.

As a Commis Chef, you’ll be given a clear development plan to improve and expand your skillset in the kitchen. You’ll also receive full training and support from a close-knit team of colleagues.

Flexible Working

The Partnership supports flexible working, such as when, where and how you work. Working flexibly may mean different things to help with your own work-life balance. For example, it might mean flexible or compressed hours, job sharing or shorter hour contracts. You’ll have the opportunity to discuss this further with the hiring manager during your interview.

The Partnership has a Defined Contribution pension scheme where your contributions will be matched by the Partnership (up to 8% of pay) and, after three years’ service, you’ll receive an additional Partnership contribution of 4% of pay, regardless of whether you pay in or not.
