As a retail Team Manager you will lead and develop a team of Partners in delivering an excellent customer experience. Through effective line-management and communication you will create an environment where Partners find worthwhile and satisfying employment, promoting a culture of continuous learning and delivering an outstanding Partner experience. As a key part of the branch management team you will contribute to the safe, legal and profitable operation of the branch, implementing changes as required and contributing towards the overall goals of the branch.
As an assistant retail Team Manager you will proactively support Partners to deliver an excellent customer experience, contributing to a safe, legal and profitable operation, modelling the Partnership Behaviours at all times. You will support the Team Manager in creating an environment where Partners find worthwhile and satisfying employment, helping to achieve both branch and personal objectives whilst recognising Partners for their contribution and resolving poor performance effectively.
These retail Team Manager roles work together proactively to support Partners to become brand ambassadors, demonstrating knowledge of our products, the Partnership, third-party relationships, and the Waitrose Way. You’ll also ensure the branch achieves the highest standards of operational compliance, providing outstanding stock management and ensuring the branch adheres diligently to established policies and procedures.
