Hours of Work Full-Time: 37.5 Hours Per Week, 22:00-06:00, Working alternate weekends


What you'll be doing:

  • Achieving productivity and customer service levels whilst ensuring the department is cost effective

  • Determining the future of the Warehouse to meet the growth requirements of the business

  • You will be responsible and accountable for Goods In to Goods Out ; Stock Control and accuracy of the warehouse operation

  • Managing the RDC in the absence of the General Manager and Warehouse Operations Manager

What you'll need:

  • To demonstrate excellent Partnership behaviours, be results orientated, cost and deadline driven

  • To be a confident communicator in a team and one to one environment.

  • Be proactive, leading through change with the ability to foresee potential issues and capable of leading a team and developing others skills and capabilities

  • You will have strong organisational and planning skills

  • PC and numerically literate

  • Self motivated and passionate about customer service

  • Demonstrates attention to detail

  • Able to accept, adapt to and manage change

  • Is able to make critical time pressured decisions with the assimilation and interpretation of data quickly

  • With Senior management experience of managing large teams preferably in a FMCG company

  • Experience working in a management role in Distribution / Warehouse environment with knowledge of working with warehouse management systems

  • Extensive knowledge of Health and Safety legislation

  • Experience of dealing with full disciplinary procedures according to ACAS guidelines

Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible and accountable for managing Partners, Managers and Agency across all chambers within a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week warehouse operation.
