Hours and Pay
Working any 5 from 7 days on a 1 or 2 week Rota pattern, this will include some weekend working
06:00 am -14:00 pm shift pattern
The hourly pay for our Warehouse Operative is: £11.58 - £12.08 Including a shift allowance (Minimum to maximum hourly rate available)

About the role
Our Distribution Centers are made up of 3 separate warehouses, each holding our Chilled (+2c), Fresh (+12c) or Ambient goods. You’ll be trained in how to work safely across all three of these different environments so you can ensure that our goods are stored, replenished, picked and dispatched using our mechanical handling equipment.
As a Warehouse Assistant for Waitrose & Partners, you’ll be responsible for:
Taking ownership for your own and others safety whilst at work
Working both independently and as part of a team
Supporting our Transport and Branch Partners by ensuring orders are assembled accurately on time
When handling a product you’ll make sure that it's always received, stored, packed and delivered to our customers to the very highest standards
Demonstrate that you can operate within the organisational values and share our vision and mission
What else will I be doing?
Other daily tasks will see you:
Adhering to all Health and Safety and Operational procedures
Keeping the warehouses as safe environments for all Partners to work in
Desirable experience skills and qualifications:
Basic standards of written English and basic Math
Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential

To handle goods, using mechanical handling equipment, within the Warehouse efficiently and accurately working to agreed productivity targets and schedules. To adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and to conduct themselves according to the Partnership’s principles.
