We currently have a number of permanent opportunities and a 12-month fixed term contract available.
This role is known internally as Senior UX Researcher, John Lewis Insight.

Duties & Responsibilities

The new John Lewis Insight function has been created to build even greater capability in analytics and research which is expected to create significant value for John Lewis in the next 12-24 months. We're building a team of people who are curious, engaging, highly skilled, commercial - and who want to have an impact in this fast-changing area.
As UX Researcher, you will be responsible for understanding end users through proactively and reactively conducting UX research (using a broad range of research methods) which informs the design process from the perspective of the end-user. This role is key in informing and inspiring the user experiences created, ensuring they're useful, usable and valuable for our customers across different business areas.

Job Requirements

The requirements for this role include, but are not limited to:
- Being able to autonomously manage all stages of the research process
- Becoming an expert on UX research methodologies
- Delivering concise, articulate insight in a compelling and engaging way - telling the story
- Being an advocate for the culture for insight-led decision making in John Lewis
- Becoming a key supporter of a collaborative team environment and culture of self-development
The role holder would need to demonstrate experience of generative and evaluative research to deliver both digital and non-digital products at pace using Lean, Agile and user-centred design methodologies.
