About the role:

As a Partner in our business your number one focus is to work collaboratively to create more value for our customers and our business. You will support the longer term development of the Supply Chain through high quality analysis and insight into the current and future operating model.

You will work across the Supply Chain and other areas as SMEs, helping to understand the changing customer landscape, how this impacts business demands on the Supply Chain operation and assessing the risks and opportunities which result.

You will provide support to the development of the longer term financial and operational modelling which will inform strategic choices. To do this, you will work across the Supply Chain as well as with a range of stakeholders within the Partnership, and externally such as suppliers and third party logistics providers.

You will develop Supply Chain initiatives and build coherent narrative and robust business cases around them, enabling complex information to be understood and reviewed by a range of stakeholders and support in the navigation of Partnership governance processes.

  • Conduct hypothesis testing through extensive modelling of new propositions, impact of changes in process, sales forecasts, volumes etc

  • Commercial intelligence - applying operational knowledge of the Supply Chain operation to the data

  • Create insight which clearly articulates a compelling story to aid and inform decision making across the Supply Chain, and to influence decision making across the organisation

  • Analyse data in order to highlight risks and opportunities, as well as then make recommendations of potential mitigation and next steps

  • Customer Centricity: The data and insight you generate will form the foundation upon which the Supply Chain operation delivers products and services to our customers, and directly influence how effectively and efficiently it is able to do this
