What’s the role about?

As Senior Campaign Manager you will be accountable for the development and performance of marketing campaigns. This consists of multi-million pound campaign budgets. 

Your focus will be on driving medium to long term behavioural or attitudinal changes amongst our target customer segments through well-considered and effective use of marketing resources and investment. You'll be highly organised, adept in working with insight and will leverage your specialist experience and understanding of the financial services market, FCA regulatory environment and the JLFS product range.

You will have a thorough understanding of, and a passion for marketing, championing the most effective and innovative best practices to meet and exceed objectives whilst balancing compliance requirements through product representation. You'll have strong commercial acumen and work well under-pressure. Your ability to present with confidence at all management levels and strong strategic thinking will be regularly used when you interface with senior leadership groups. 

What will you be doing?

  • You will be accountable for the end to end delivery of marketing campaigns, leading the definition of the marketing brief including the responsibility for the performance of the channel and media plan, messaging hierarchy, creative execution, all the way through to delivery of the campaign itself being on time and on budget. 

  • You will build strong cross-functional relationships and collaborative ways of working with business / business owners to define the requirements and shape the marketing campaign strategy. 

  • You will work closely with the Performance Marketing teams (through econometric and attribution modelling), Customer and Insight teams to deliver a rounded view of the contribution to overall sales. 

  • You will be responsible for writing briefs, rooted in customer insight, collaborating with channel specialists to ensure effective marketing campaigns & content are delivered across the entire marketing mix as well as customer touchpoints.

  • People management of Marketing Campaign Managers and Senior Marketing Campaign Executives, driving continual improvement in team performance and encouraging development of self and others, cultivating a collaborative and motivated team environment. 

What you'll have?

  • Experience working in financial services marketing. 

  • Significant experience of campaign management. 

  • In depth understanding of marketing communications and the role different channels play.

  • Experience in leading large teams. 

What else could you bring?

  • University Marketing degree and / or professional qualifications (CIM or IDM).
