5 KEY THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE ROLE

You will:

1. Support agencies and in-house capabilities to deliver Programmatic marketing across the full suite of John Lewis Finance products (insurance, credit and banking)

2. Support the team to manage day-to-day relationships, campaign planning, creative briefing, and campaign performance reporting

3. Support the team to plan and manage campaigns through programmatic channels, constantly optimising spend and ensuring relevancy of messaging and targeting. Working in broader ‘matrix’ teams and stakeholders

4. Contribute towards continual improvement in team performance and encourage development of self and others, cultivating a collaborative and motivated team environment

5. Identify  new opportunities and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:

  • Demonstrable experience in Digital Marketing / Programmatic Marketing

  • Experience of reviewing numbers and turning insights into actionable plans 

  • Analytical thinking; Advanced Excel / Google sheets

  • Sound knowledge of the latest developments within digital marketing and customer communications

  • Stakeholder management skills

  • Experience of driving processes, creating solutions to problems and meeting deadlines 

  • Experience of understanding customers, tone of voice and ability to drive performance whilst protecting brand values

  • Experienced at negotiating and confident in making decisions.

What else you could bring

  • Digital marketing experience within Financial Services 

  • Demonstrable understanding of how digital marketing channels work together to influence customer behaviour 

  • Sound knowledge of the latest developments within the owned ad ops platform.
