What’s the role about?
The John Lewis Partnership is recruiting for a Senior Digital Acquisition Analyst to join the Financial Services team. This role reports into the Digital Marketing Lead and works alongside a team of channel specialists to deliver an ambitious multi-channel acquisition programme in this fast-growing area of the Partnership. As a Partner in our business your number one focus is to work collaboratively to create more value for our customers and our business.
As Senior Digital Acquisition Analyst within the Financial Services Digital Marketing team you will lead marketing analytics for our digital acquisition channels and deliver actionable insight to optimise our channel strategies and to feed into our CRO programme, working to improve efficiency and make recommendations for marketing spend. As an expert in web analytics (Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics) and the digital marketing tech stack, you will take the lead on developing measurement solutions including attribution modelling to ensure performance is fully understood and optimised.
What will you be doing?
Undertake thorough analysis of digital acquisition activity (PPC,Aggregators, Affiliates, SEO, Programmatic etc), delivering useful insight to assist channel managers in the optimisation of spend and activity.
Extract, prepare, analyse and interpret large data sets in order to undertake statistical evaluation including utilising digital marketing platform data.
Deliver recurring and ad hoc reporting and analysis to support both day to day and strategic decision making including forecasting, for always-on activity as well as campaigns.
Translate data into visualizations, metrics, and goals,synthesising complex and ambiguous information in an accessible way for all stakeholders and delivering clear conclusions and recommendations.
Demonstrate compelling storytelling; an ability to tell a complex narrative clearly in order to influence the audience to act on it.
Support the development of analytics platforms and associated martech.
Lead the development of attribution modelling.
Ensure that all work complies with the Data Protection Act and adheres to all
Partnership risk management and data security policies and methodologies.
Support your Professional lead to continuously develop and improve your Profession.

What you'll have
Significant analytics experience including web analytics (Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics)
Commercial e.g. online or shop trading, business consulting
Sound working knowledge of digital marketing platforms and martech
Technical skill, knowledge and experience in the use of Big Data, data visualisation, data manipulation and enterprise reporting techniques and tools

Building predictive models
Experience of synthesising complex and ambiguous information in order to drive actionable insight brought to life through communication and visualisation
