What's the role about?
This is an exciting role working in our John Lewis Security Team. You will be managing a team of Partners to create and deliver a security strategy for our Security Operations Centre. This will involve Physical Security; Incident Management; Investigations Support; Compliance & Audit monitoring and business operations support.
This role will be utilising security tools and systems to support the Security team to deliver effective Shrinkage prevention and risk mitigation.
What will you be doing?
As a Security Operations Centre Manager you will be:
Working with the Fraud and Investigations lead to develop a strategy for the Security Operations Centre
Mentoring and Managing a team of Security Operations Centre Partners to be part of a winning organisation including managing shift rota’s, Partner Development plans and ongoing performance#
Delivering training to your team
Responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures
Liaising with stakeholders from across the business
Providing direct incident management to the John Lewis Network and coordinating a response between internal and external parties
Supporting in the gathering of intelligence amongst our John Lewis shops in relation to crime and supporting with investigations

What will you have?
Required essential experience skills and qualifications:
Experienced Loss Prevention / Profit Protection professional
Strong technical knowledge and operational experience with Security and SOC Technologies
Line Management experience
Security Incident Management experience
Strong communication (written and verbal), time management, and sound decision-making abilities especially during times of crisis
What else can you bring?
Experience of managing a Security Operations Centre for Retail
Working knowledge of all security systems (Access control, CCTV, Intruder alarm etc.).
Experience of responding to exception reporting from data mining tools
