This is a full time nights vacancy, 37.5 hours a week, 22:00-06:00, 5 nights out of 7 to include weekends.
What you’ll be doing:
Creating and maintaining control frameworks for the site, regularly updating to reflect changes in compliance requirements and processes
Delivering and communicating storage capacity within the site through stock control and management
Advising and guiding managers within the site to ensure maximum throughput against warehouse capacity
Driving the tracking and influencing of stock availability to ensure high levels across the Partnership
Effectively planning and managing seasonal and event based sales within the supply chain network
Providing site management with clear analysis and transparent data to enable to drive continuous improvement within operational teams
Supporting the strategic decisions for inventory control for 3rd Party service providers, to ensure stock loss is kept to a minimum
Providing subject matter expertise to the site management team as required on Supply Chain processes, resolving any shrinkage queries
What you'll need:
Previous experience of stock management within a logistics/supply chain environment
Managing customer/client relationships
Management of a change agenda in a logistics/supply chain environment
What you may bring:
A Level/Degree educated or equivalent
Capable of covering other operations to provide support as required.

As a Stock and Inventory Section Manager at Fenny Lock NDC, you will be working with the Stock Inventory Department Manager, coordinating Supply Chain compliance with external control frameworks and ensuring any recommendations made as a result of audit findings are captured, communicated, tracked and implemented.
You will ensure that Supply Chain Partners have access to the support tools required to enable them to drive compliance against the relevant control framework in their area of operation. You will proactively identify opportunities to reduce damage and process driven stock loss. You will support Supply Chain teams to put in place strategies to mitigate emerging trends and patterns of stock loss. You will also work to create a culture of continuous improvement on stock loss, improve understanding of causes, and ensure that potential impact on stock loss of new processes are understood and any risks mitigated.
