Here at the John Lewis Partnership, we are recruiting for two Section Managers at our Origin Park Customer Delivery Hub (CDH)
Please note, we have two Permanent positions available, one CDH Section Manager Warehouse & one CDH Section Manager Customer Delivery, PM Shift. You will have the opportunity to express your preference in the application.
You will be passionate about leading and engaging your team of Partners in all aspects of the two person customer delivery operation and you will do this by empowering your teams and leading with purpose to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service to all John Lewis customers.
This role requires excellent working relationships and you will be someone who can embrace change and support, empower, inspire and motivate your team who spend the majority of their time remotely away from the site.
This role would suit someone who:
Can take Partners on a journey with them, translating business messages and making sense of them in an honest and open way.
Can adapt communication and style to each situation - demonstrating the core leadership behaviors
Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure operation adhere to all rules and regulations regarding legal compliance
Deliver all operational KPIs in line with Partner, Customer, Profit and ensure compliance in line with all business wide metrics
Prioritise workload in line with service level agreements to enable lead-times to be met for both internal and external customers.
Plan operational resource (daily/weekly) with Partners and agency
Develop and maintain relationships with operational teams to ensure communication channels remain effective
Monitor and analyse department KPIs to look for trends and opportunities to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Flexibility to ensure effective communication between shifts
Ensure daily communication with Transport Planning team
Manage day to day running of different departments within the operation
Required essential experience skills and qualifications:
Experience of supervising a team in a fast-moving, customer focused environment
Previous Management Experience.
Excellent Communication and people skills
