Description

We have a variety of roles with both Selling and Stock Assistant positions available. 
Please be aware that some Stock Assistant positions could start from 06:00am. 
Stock Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
You will be a brand ambassador, engaging customers and offering informed and exemplary service. You'll have a passion for merchandising and love to keep the shelves fully stocked ensuring customers can easily find their perfect product.

Your journey starts with the stock arriving at the back door. We'll rely on you to get the stock on the shelves in the right place and at the right time. You'll design inspiring and eye catching displays to entice our customers into our shops and to fall in love with our products. Customers are at the heart of everything you do.

Selling Assistant Duties and Responsibilities:
Your passion for selling will enable you to provide guidance to customers on our products from washing machines to womenswear. We'll equip you with the skills and knowledge to advise customers with confidence.

Stock Assistant Job Requirements:
You'll not only create attractive displays, but to maximise sales opportunities you will need to ensure there are sufficient stock levels to meet the increased customer interest.

You'll be a strong team player with a meticulous eye for detail who loves to use your initiative. With passion and drive you'll deliver the John Lewis brand vision.

Selling Assistant Job Requirements:
Your day will be varied, from delivering service with a smile at the till to assisting customers with their online orders. You'll proactively engage with customers on the shop floor to help them find and fall in love with our products. Working with colleagues and managers you’ll turn customer conversations into sales.

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications:
-Previous experience in a stock management role.
-Previous experience in a customer service role

- Previous experience of selling. Where a specific department is stated experience should be related.
- Previous experience in a customer facing role.

This operational role proactively meets customer needs through replenishing and managing stock, ensuring the shop is ready
to trade with with excellent on shelf availability and pricing compliance. The role supports the delivery of a truly inspirational
and differentiated shopping experience for John Lewis Customers by working cross functionally with Visual Merchandise and
Selling Partners and will deliver market leading merchandising and presentation standards of branch stock.
