The pay range for this role will increase to; £40,600 to £56,900 from 1st April 2019

Duties & Responsibilities

We have an exciting opportunity within our Property & Development department for a Cost Insight & Data Manager. This is a fast paced role working hand in hand with internal stakeholders to drive pan Partnership value. Within the role, you will deliver accurate data, information and insight that supports best value and identifies opportunities to be delivered from Physical Estate Capital.

You will be accountable for ensuring project financial processes are delivered and real estate transactions are executed, all to required standards, to support the delivery of the Property & Development strategy. You will manage the Commercial & Real Estate Data Management Team whose role is to carry out these Oracle and O6ix processes on behalf of Property & Development. You will be responsible for representing Property & Development in business change projects and for the successful delivery of financial year end processes. A tenacious, inquisitive and thoughtful mindset will be needed to be successful.

Job Requirements

Key responsibilities to include:

- Shape and own the Pan Partnership 'cost database' (Commercial Insight Hub) and work with Procurement, Project Managers and Quantity Surveyors to maintain the quality of data.
- Develop standard reports that support common data requests and quick decision making.
- Identify emerging construction and real estate trends, and share insights that are relevant to Divisional Physical Estate strategies.
- Own and maintain the Commercial Management Manual, working with the Commercial & Insight Managers to ensure it is kept up to date.
- Have ultimate accountability for work delivered by Commercial & Real Estate Data Management roles, and work with this team to ensure deliverables are timely and to the required quality.
- Support the team to balance workloads from Real Estate Managers, Project Teams and Commercial & Insight Managers, and act as their point of escalation when there are competing requests for their support.
- Line Management responsibilities including ongoing performance management conversations.
- Represent Property & Development in business change projects relating to Oracle Projects and O6ix Real Estate Management.
- Responsible for carrying out key real estate activities including rent runs, turnover certificates and O6ix training.
- Responsible for the successful delivery of financial year end and half year end processes.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

- Knowledge of Construction and Real Estate sectors
- Management of large databases
- Numerate and competent using Microsoft Excel

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

- Experience of managing databases requiring input from internal and external sources
- Line management or team leader experience
