This role can be based at either Bracknell, Berkshire or Victoria, London however regular travel will be required to both sites.

Duties & Responsibilities

Group Change have a fantastic opportunity to join their team as a Project Manager based in either Victoria, London or Bracknell, Berkshire on a permanent contract. You will be pivotal in the planning, delegating, monitoring and control of all aspects of one or more projects and the motivation of those involved to achieve the project objectives with the expected performance targets such as time, costs, quality, scope, benefits and risk.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Project Manager in Waterfall and Agile methodology with a experience of IT changes in a business project would be useful.

Job Requirements

The requirements for this role include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the delivery of a specific project from initiation to closure, taking responsibility for the key project management elements, including initiation, project planning (including estimating), monitoring and control (to time, cost, quality, scope and management of risk and change control), and successful transition to BAU and closure (including benefits realisation).
- Ensure correct procedures are followed to manage all risks (opportunities and threats), issues and dependencies associated with projects. Includes ensuring they are properly documented, reported, actively managed, and accompanied by effective communication throughout the process.
- Encourage teamwork, honesty and trust with all key stakeholders, suppliers and consultants, building partnerships to collectively deliver excellent results. Gain commitment, set, and monitor clear objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with peers and stakeholders to ensure engagement, support and delivery of the project's outcomes and therefore ultimately its benefits.
Change Management - Understand the impacts of change, brought about by the delivery of the project, and ensure that an effective change management plan is in place to maintain consistency of delivery, optimise benefits and contribute to a healthy change experience for all. Resources available within the Partnership should be used effectively.
Personal Development - Take an active role in own learning and development, giving and receiving regular and honest feedback in order to improve performance of oneself and the team.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Professional Project Management qualification or actively working towards one (Prince2© Practitioner)
Experience within project environments, or having delivered change within BAU roles
Experience managing a team consisting of internal and external resources
Experience building and managing diverse relationships across a business
Strong project management skills
Flexible approach to change, with a positive attitude to fluctuating workload and prepared to work individually or as a team
Ability to build and manage relationships and influence indirect reports
Continuously self motivates and works well in team.
Understands project finances with the ability to control costs
