What is the role about?
In this role, you would be a member of the Contract team. The contracts team are responsible for the business planning, organisation and delivery of the contract businesses projects. The team takes collective responsibility for delivering an outstanding end to end customer experience.
What you will be doing?
The Project Control Administrator has a key role in managing projects from quotation agreement to installation sign off. Seeking to continuously develop the customer's accounts that you are allocated and take responsibility for providing them with an exceptional end to end service that you would expect from the John Lewis Partnership.
You would provide your customers with project plans and updates of these as required so that projects can be monitored practically and financially. Place orders for the raw materials, finished goods and services required for each project and ensure that the controls established for purchasing of raw materials and finished goods are observed.
Within this role, you would also support the Senior Projects Manager in the interface with the allocated customers in all aspects of the projects as required.
You would also book and manage the employed and sub-contracted fitting team, in conjunction with the other Partners that use the same resource, to maximise the efficiency of the fitting team for all concerned.
What you will have?
Required essential experience skills and qualifications:
Highly numerate and literate and keen to learn about project management
Good communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Desirable experience skills and qualifications but not essential
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Wider knowledge of the textile and manufacturing industry, sourcing and sales.
Familiar with Airtable
