What’s the role about?
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Profit Protection Area Manager where you will be responsible for covering all physical security aspects across our range of Partnership sites including our shops, hotels and distribution centres. There are two key main areas to this role, mitigating the risk of malicious harm to Partners and our Customers and managing shrinkage performance within budget and risk appetite. A large part of the role involves engaging with stakeholders across the business to bring the Profit Protection strategy to life.
What will you be doing?
As a Profit Protection Area Manager you will be:
Liaising with stakeholders of all different levels across the business to ensure they are actively managing their sites shrinkage performance
Responding to Partner Safety and Physical Risk, holding regular meetings with management to ensure this
Providing effective line management to your regions Loss Prevention Partners
Provide incident responses and full investigation reports on criminal activity
Be responsible for conducting crime investigations across your area and bringing these to conclusion (including potential disciplinary action and/or arrest in some cases)
What you’ll have:
Knowledge of the Partnership’s People policies and processes, including disciplinary procedures and an understanding of employment legislation
Experience of working with stakeholders at all levels to collaboratively identify solutions and improvements
Experience of analysing data to use in problem solving and translating complex data into a simple communication
Access to own transport to enable attendance at all sites in the region
What else can you bring?
Knowledge of security related criminal law would be an advantage
Retail experience, including Store Policy and Procedure
Experience of working within a profit protection environment, including supporting retail crime investigations
Some experience in the detection of theft and fraud through data and observation of behaviour.
Holds or has the capability to work towards a relevant Loss Prevention/Security/Risk/Audit/Investigator qualification e.g. LPC, CSMP,Wicklander Zulawski, etc
