What’s the role about?
This is an exciting opportunity to join the JL&P Quality & Technical Profession in the Home Q&T team on a 12 month fixed term contract, at a time when the focus on developing market leading own brand product is so important.
This contract will be due to start in January 2021.
The role demands a decisive and motivated self-starter with strong interpersonal, investigative and analytical skills coupled with a desire for continual learning and development, an ability to work effectively across many levels of an organisation, and effective communications and influencing skills, with an ability to work at pace.
What will you be doing?
You will be known for managing the life cycle of our home textiles range at department level including safety, legality, quality, production, sustainability and provenance, ensuring compliance with technical policies and development.
You will lead and manage relevant supplier and technical relationships and competence against delivery of technical and commercial goals, maintaining our customer’s trust by protecting the reputation of the John Lewis brand.
You will lead in identifying and implementing newness and innovation within the category, buying offices and supply chain, to protect and enhance the John Lewis brand.
