Duties & Responsibilities

If you've ever visited our John Lewis & Partners retail website, admired our point of sale in branch or gained inspiration from our lifestyle pieces, then chances are you've seen the fantastic work our Content Production Hub produces.

As Post Production Manager, you'll be key to the success of the hub, right in the heart of the operation making sure that all digital assets though post-production are delivered in good quality and to a deadline.

Working in the darkroom with a team of Senior Retouchers, Retouchers and Post-Production Coordinators, you'll be responsible for building and maintaining those relationships as well as wider team relationships to drive key efficiencies and to ensure the welbeing of your team.

You'll also be responsible for managing a 3rd party offshore agency, to oversee their performance/quality and making sure that SLA's are met.

Job Requirements

An understanding of retail/trading is important to be able to know how to respond quickly to changing environments. It is also important to understand where the business is going with it's digital assets/imagery to maintain our brand reputation and help keep us as one of the most successful UK retailers.

A strong attention to detail is required to be able to generate ideas, improve production flow and future proof the end to end operation. You'll need to be able to work well with members of the wider team such as Photographers.

- Strong Project Management skills
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and able to adapt to change
- Good people management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work in a team environment
