Duties & Responsibilities

John Lewis Partnership are currently looking for a Photographer to join the team in Origin Park on a permanent basis.

If you are talented, creative and a highly motivated individual, we would love for you to join our fast-paced Content Production team at The Hub in Park Royal. As a Partner you will be known for taking responsibility for our business success, building relationships powered by our principles and creating real influence over our working lives.

You will be known for producing high-quality Fashion product page imagery that meets style guides/design briefs whilst achieving the target daily shot count. The candidate should have experience working within an e-commerce studio and should hold a portfolio showcasing model, cutout and creative imagery. We are looking for a strong team player who is motivated and committed with a desire to learn from others.

Job Requirements

Produces high quality, inspirational and informative images through an in-depth knowledge of photographic processes and lighting techniques.

Provides clear communication to the post-production team where retouching or image manipulation is required.

Ensures brand guidelines/style guidelines are adhered to. Tests seasonal lighting and compositions to keep image content fresh, exciting and consistent. Manages volume and agreed shot counts whilst maintaining attention to detail.

To educate and support the freelance studio staff in the process and required output of the studio.

Follows image production schedule and process, flexing where appropriate.

Makes recommendations to improve the process where possible.

Ensures working processes will result in high-quality imagery and optimal efficiency.

Liaises with Senior Photographers where appropriate.

Collaborates with Content Design Managers to achieve JL brand look and feel.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Experience of the creation of digital visual assets Working to brand guidelines.

Experience in producing digital fashion e-commerce video content.

Worked within a Photographic Studio shooting high volumes and meeting daily targets.

Portfolio of cutout, mannequin and model photography.

Broad experience in photographic e-commerce/retail content environment.

Proficiency in Mac and Canon hardware.

Experience with studio lighting - elinchrom or profoto.

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications
