What is the role about?

 

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Logic Park Customer Distribution Hub as a Part-Time Transport Administrator. As a Transport Administrator you will be the "go-to" person completing and updating all relevant Legal and Compliance requirements and Driver and Vehicle records as well as providing resolutions for all transport and fleet related queries.

This is a varied role suitable for someone who can work on their own initiative, has excellent communication and organisational skills, an eye for detail and is prepared to go above and beyond to fulfil the varied requirements for this role.

This is part time role, 22.5 hours per week - 05:45 to 14:15 x 3 days/week on a 6 week rota, includes 2 Saturdays

The advertised pay range for this role is for the full time equivalent, the salary range for 22.5 weekly hours is £13,140 - £18,480

What will you be doing?

  • You will be responsible for completing and updating all relevant Legal and Compliance requirements, Driver and Vehicle records in accordance with the ‘Undertakings and Declarations’ within the John Lewis Partnership Operators Licence and the DVSA Earned Recognition scheme.

  • You will provide a resolution for all transport and fleet related queries that come through the Customer Delivery Hub.

  • You will adhere to adhere to all Health and Safety and Operational Procedures ​

What you’ll have:

Essential Skills:

  • Good working knowledge of IT Systems including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Basic Maths skills

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

  • Very good organisation and planning skills with a good working knowledge of Transport legislation.

  • Experience working in a Transport office and/or clerical role
