As the Paid Social Content lead you'll be responsible for defining the strategy, implementation and optimisation of social media content, with a focus on world class paid social marketing, digital platform relationships, measurement and storytelling.

The roles requires a mix of creativity, visual brand aesthetic and detailed eye for entrepreneurial-ism, media optimisation and tenacity to turn interesting creative opportunities into successful trials / business cases.

A true champion of creative excellence and storytelling in content marketing it is also preferable if candidates have worked with in house editorial teams and understand how marketing and content best practise come together in the digital space.

Job Requirements

A key leadership role within the Social Marketing team to inspire, coach and develop a team of social specialists focused on paid social media content, to deliver world class always-on and campaign activity that meets KPIs and drives our brand, need state, trade and reinvention objectives.
In collaboration with the Programmatic and Affiliates Lead, responsible for reviewing and optimising integrated full funnel digital media plans that optimise ROI, innovate and encourage best in class agency ways of working across the full ful digital mix.
Responsible for budgeting and forecasting across the paid social budget to ensure strategic delivery and maximum return, with an eye to building knowledge and development across the social media and wider marketing teams.
Socialise awareness and business potential of both organic and paid social content across the business, providing tools and resources to enable future content opportunities.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Marketing/Business related degree or equivalent experience
Owned and demonstrated excellence across brand, consideration and trade driving social first marketing
Strong commercial awareness with accurate forecasting and cost control. £1mn+ budget ownership
Using social insight to inform campaign and media activity
Brand safety
Influence marketing
Senior level stakeholder management
Media planning
Analytical thinking; advanced excel
Presentation skills
