Key responsibilities for the role:
Works within the packaging team to identify, develop and implement own label packaging and material opportunities that add value and deliver effective and innovative packaging, meeting the packaging targets and delivering our environmental commitments to support the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy.

Ensures conformance with Partnership and regulatory policies and procedures at all times and
delivers safe and sustainable packaging solutions.

Job Requirements

This role would suit someone who is results oriented, deadline driven whilst being flexible and adapts to
change at pace. The role holder will be good at planning, project management, has persistence, tenacity
and inspiring to Waitrose & Partners head office teams and our suppliers. Likes working cross functionally
and is an engaging person who quickly establishes rapport and trust to secure engagement from project
stakeholders building strong relationships and network. Likes to gather and manage information from
various sources. Finally you must be able to actively manage risk boundaries and enjos data and reporting.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

Graduate degree desirable
Compliance (GSCOP, Competitive Law etc.) Systems (e.g. BOBI, PIC, PWC).
Strong Technical/Commercial experience and proven ability in delivering strong results.
Communicating at all levels of the business with strong presentation and influencing skills
Packaging expertise
Ability to demonstrate a genuine interest and enthusiasm in product/packaging trends and innovation
Experience of working collaboratively
