Duties & Responsibilities

We are currently looking for an Own Brand Design Manager to join our busy team on a 9 month contract.

Your role will be to lead and support customer centric propositions and develop design solutions for strategic own brand projects from inception through briefing and audit stages to concepts, implementation and guidelines.

You will be responsible for all aspects of project management, including budget management, schedules and stakeholder engagement.

You will work closely with approved agencies and external consultants to ensure delivery of innovative, market leading design solutions, which contribute to building the long term value of the Brand.

You will also work collaboratively with functions across the business to ensure there is engagement and appropriate input and by doing so enable the final output to be delivered across all channels and touch points in an on-brand, relevant and seamless manner for our target customers.

Your role is to also act as a key Own Brand guardian, challenging where appropriate, maintaining all Brand identity guidelines, ensuring they are up to date, accessible for all relevant stakeholders. You will also manage reviews and audits to assess adherence and governance to guidelines.

Job Requirements

- Develops category Own Brand strategic brief
- Creates,develops and maintains effective relationships with key internal/external stakeholders
- Responsible for category and project budgets
- Looking after projects and making sure tey run smoothly from start to finish

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

- Experience in design management within an agency or in-house creative department.
- Experience of working in a retail environment
- Strong spreadsheet and G-suite skills and high level of computer literacy.
- Experience with brand development
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Strong strategic thinking skills
