What you will be doing:

You will help to facilitate inductions of both Partners and Agency operatives to ensure understanding of role requirements, implementing high levels of training standards that reflect the ethos of the Partnership and ensuring consistency in that training across the whole of the RDC.

You will support and facilitate the management team with regards to all mandatory training elements for Partners ensuring that records are completed accurately and within the required timescales.

You will work with line managers to aid Partner Development through cross-training, providing coaching and feedback where appropriate, attending regular communication meetings and communicating any operational issues to the management team.

You will take ownership of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) ensuring that they are up to date and a true reflection of operational activity.

You will ensure all Legal, Health and Safety legislation and Operational procedures are adhered to at all times ensuring the safety of others, including reporting injuries, accidents and any Health and Safety issues.

This role will suit someone who:

  • Able to build rapport with Partners, customers and visitors and is able to motivate Partners to deliver day to day standards.
  • Shows attention to detail and has good organisation and planning skills.
  • Demonstrates coaching and learning skills and is confident in the delivery of training solutions in line with Partnership principles.
  • Is process driven.
  • Has good listening skills and communicates clearly and precisely at all levels.
  • Is self motivated and proactive in approach.
  • Is able to use initiative when dealing with unexpected situations and has the ability to accept and adapt to change.
  • Has a good degree of literacy and numeracy, is computer literate and can use design spreadsheets.

Essential Experience:

  • Experience of working in a Warehouse environment
  • Experience training and coaching others

To train and coach Warehouse Partners, including agency and other nominated individuals, in the operational requirements to complete their roles successfully. Adhering to all Legal, Health and Safety and Operational procedures and conduct themselves accordingly to all the Partnership principles.
