Job Description
What can you expect in this role?
Working in the hotel, you’ll be surrounded by a team of passionate and dedicated hospitality Partners to give our guests the best experience whether they are with us for the day or a longer stay. What is different about our guests though, is that they are Partners, their friends and family. As co-owners in the business, you’ll see this difference in the way your teammates and you approach your job and carry out your responsibilities.
You’ll work as part of a small maintenance team handling routine maintenance activities throughout the hotel and golf club, acting as a brand ambassador by being a warm and friendly Partner who provides a consistently outstanding customer experience that is unrivalled in the marketplace.
Typical tasks include:
Performing routine maintenance tasks such as faulty window latches, changing light bulbs and decorating
Completing preventative maintenance programs such as fire alarm and smoke detector checks
Ensuring safety of driveways by coordinating salt sprinkling activities during snowy weather
Ensuring the hotel looks clean and maintained at all times
Ensuring that any potential hazards are taken care of
Please note there is a requirement to be on-call in this role.
This role consists of Monday - Friday working days with an earliest start time 7am - latest finish time 7pm.Occasional weekend working.

What do you need?
City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 or NVQ equivalent
City and Guilds in mechanical discipline or NVQ 6018 Heating and ventilation industrial and commercial installations.
Proven competency in one or more of the following trades: Joinery, carpentry, plumbing, metalwork, decorating, drainage, Tiling, flooring or wet trade
An understanding in the operation and maintenance of the following: BMS systems: air conditioning and heating systems, domestic hot and cold water services, low voltage electrical distribution to include lighting, power and data communication, fire protection /detection/alarm systems water treatment and monitoring standby generators and UPS systems mechanical handling equipment
Good standard of PC usage to maintain straight forward records and communication
