About the role
The role of a lodges and camping assistant is varied with no two days being the same. When working in the restaurant you could be preparing and serving breakfast, working on the bar or preparing takeaway orders for guests.
When working on housekeeping you could be preparing our lodges or glamping tents for guest arrivals or cleaning communal areas such as the toilet and shower block to ensure the highest levels of cleanliness are maintained.
You could also be covering reception assisting guests who are checking in or settling their bill before departure.

Essential skills you’ll need
● IT skills.
● Good communication skills.
● Attention to detail.
● Good organisational skills and ability to multi task
● Experience with basic food preparation
Desirable skills you could bring
●Experience working in a Restaurant or Bar or willingness to learn
● Experience working in a Housekeeping/cleaning role or willingness to learn

About Leckford:-
If you are looking for a hotel with something different and some history to work in, then Leckford Abbas, our Place in the Hampshire Countryside could be the place for you. The Abbas is not only a hotel set in breathtaking countryside within the Leckford Estate, and one of the Partnership owned hotels across the country which are run by Partners for Partners, it used to be the home of our Founder John Spedan Lewis.
Visitors to the Abbas can stay in Spedans old bedroom or sit out and enjoy the same views he saw when he was drawing up his plans for the Partnership, setting it up to be one of the longest running British companies.
Within the beautiful Hampshire countryside sits the picturesque Leckford Estate. 4000 acres containing our Farm, Farmshop, Plant Nursery, award-winning Water Gardens and our holiday escapes; Leckford Abbas and Leckford Lodges & Camping.
At the Lodges & Camping, our guests can relax in one of our fully furnished Lodges, get the ‘glamping’ experience in our Safari Tents or take advantage of one of our Ready Pitched Tents.
The Lodges & camping give our guests freedom, they can come and go as they please. They can take in the peaceful countryside, go out and visit local attractions or take full advantage of the facilities onsite which include; Children's Play Area's, Games Room, Bicycles, Tennis Court, Bowling Green, Putting Green.
No matter what our guests get up to, they are likely to be hungry and looking to visit the onsite Apple Press Lodge restaurant where you could be working, creating tasty meals to enhance their stay.
