Please note - The role is based in Victoria or Bracknell but travel will be required to Victoria and Bracknell on a weekly basis and across the Partnership on a regular basis

Duties & Responsibilities

The John Lewis Partnerships centralised Group Change & Productivity function is growing, with further Partnership wide portfolios being added to its remit.

For this reason, we are looking for a Lead Portfolio Analyst - with a primary focus on Governance and Reporting to work alongside our other Lead Portfolio Analysts, providing analysis, insight on Strategic alignment, and the feasibility and performance of the Portfolio.

Please note, Internally this role is known as Lead Portfolio Analyst.

Job Requirements

The role holder will be accountable for ensuring the right Governance is in place for Group Change initiatives and reporting is insightful. They will also align methods and tools with the other Division to deliver better change.

They will be accountable for Governance, reporting and risk and issue management for the GC Portfolio ensuring risk is minimised and delivery assured across the GC Portfolio reporting to the Group Change Portfolio Board and up to ExCo.

The success candidate will be able to demonstrate strong influencing and communication skills at director/senior levels, building strong Pan Partnership relationships and must have solid financial and change management at the core of their decision making.

The individual must be a strong leader, team player, with great line management experience and be able to mentor and coach others in their discipline as direct and indirect reports.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

> At least one of the following qualifications:
- PPM - MoP, P30, MSP, MOR
- Project Management - PRINCE or APMP
- Finance - CIMA, CIPFA, ACCA
> Defining, building and maintenance of complex models /reports to support 'best in class' Portfolio management function.
> Demonstrate strong management, including building and managing 3rd party supplier relationships and matrix relationships.
> Confident management of high degrees of complexity, ambiguity and changes of business focus
