Pay rates are negotiable dependent on relevant skills and experience.
Each April, we review our pay ranges taking into account market movement. Therefore the pay range for this role may change from the 1st April 2021. For any Partners starting prior to the 15th February 2021 you will have your pay reviewed as part of this annual pay review. Your People Manager will discuss this with you. For any Partners starting on or after the 15th February 2021 your starting pay rate offer will be inclusive of this review.
What’s the role about?
John Lewis Partnership Commercial Large and Heavy Goods Vehicle Technicians are the lifeblood of our logistics network. Without them, our shelves would be empty and our customers disappointed. Our Large Vehicle Technicians are encouraged to manage their own time, while being proactive to ensure our Commercial Fleet is maintained.
What you’ll be doing
- Servicing and repairing any of our Commercial Vehicles.- Maintaining a compliant and safe working environment.- Attending a ‘Partner Voice’ session to help shape the direction of your department and wider business.- Enjoying a freshly made subsidised lunch in our Partner’s Dining Room.

What you’ll have:
To land this role as a Commercial Vehicle Technician you will need a City and Guilds 1,2,3 Vehicle Technician or equivalent qualification and a Large Goods Vehicle C+E driving licence. You will also have a proven background in transport commercial large vehicle repairs
