Duties & Responsibilities

You'll be working closely with and supporting the Product Developer on the development of the Product ranges to fit the Waitrose brand in line with appropriately identified trends and supporting customer insights, on time and to budget

Being aware of the market and trends is also important to ensure that products being delivered are new and innovating but meet customer needs and trends whilst staying loyal to the brand and delivering consistency.

Identify and work with all relevant stakeholders including, Brand, Buying, Graphic Design, Technical, suppliers to deliver product development.

We are 5% of the UK Grocery Market, but going forward we want that to be the best and most innovative 5%.

Job Requirements

This role requires someone who is passionate about food and the Waitrose brand, to enable building and maintaining of effective working relationships with suppliers.
Being organised and able to work in a fast paced environment is required.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

- Proven New Product Development experience in the food retail industry
- Able to demonstrate a passion for food
- Strong organisational skills
- Good administration skills
- Full driving license
- Good communication and collaboration skills
