Duties & Responsibilities

Our Industrial Placement Programme - General Merchandise Buying will make you see retail in a new light. Our unique Partnership difference and approach to business will enable you to get the most out of your placement year. Our placements combine hands on experience with real projects. You will also receive relevant on the job training.

This role is within the Ambient Buying Team (e.g. Grocery, Non Food and Wines). During your placement you will provide effective and efficient support to designated Buyer to achieve business goals using initiative and strong communication skills.

Job Requirements

During your Industrial Placement you'll have a number of accountabilities, these will include:

- Being an approachable and knowledgeable member of the team who liaises with a number of internal and external stakeholders to provide full administrative assistance.

- Coordinating end to end line administration (new line critical path, new supplier set up sample management and ticketing liaison and .com).

- Line maintenance, Mid Life changes, Cost/Retail changes, Status Changes, Supplier transfer, Deletions & Allocations Panel, range review and showcase administrative support.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

The minimum application requirements are as follows:
As part of your degree, be able to take a year out in industry commencing July 2020

The assessment centre for this role will be held in November 2019. The placement will start on Monday 6th July 2020.
