Duties & Responsibilities

Ambleside Park is a 24 bedroom private hotel on the banks of Lake Windermere in the Lake District.

You'll join our friendly team working together to deliver excellent customer service to all our guests.

Job Requirements

Our general hotel assistant is a role that will see you work in all areas of the hotel, simultaneously offering variety to your working day as well as the opportunity to gain experience in a multitude of departments within the hospitality industry. The emphasis always being on providing exceptional customer service.

The rota is comprised of five shifts per week on a three week rolling pattern. The shifts consist of daytime, evening and weekend hours that include straight and split shifts that will take place between the hours of 7:00am and 11:00pm.

You'll need some catering or hotel experience and in return we offer an attractive remuneration package with 28 days holiday per year pro rata including bank holidays, discount in all John Lewis and Waitrose stores, learning and leisure subsidies plus discounts and deals available at hundreds of high street names.
