What’s the role about?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Hospitality & Food Service team as a Team Leader in our West Warehouse, Bracknell Distribution Centre working in the Partner Dining Room. Salary range is between £20,600 - £27,000 dependent on experience
Shifts are Mon-Fri 07:00-15:00
What can you expect in this role?
As a Team Leader, you’ll be an exemplary operator, ensuring food service is delivered to the highest possible standard, on time and in a way that puts Partners at the heart of what we do. Hygiene and food safety must be complied with at all times and you will be responsible for ensuring that all team members do the same.
The role will offer you opportunities to display your talent, people management skills and knowledge of running a successful team. It will also provide you with development opportunities and the progression routes as you will be expected to.
What you’ll be doing:
Leading the team, who you task manage, to support the Hospitality & Food Service proposition in the delivery of the highest possible operational standards
Delivering, through exemplar standards, outstanding and consistent customer service in catering and vending to maximise Partner Dining Room sales
Supporting opportunities for continuous improvement and greater efficiency
Ensuring the teams develop a great service offer which exceeds commercial targets, delights customers and leads market / competitor trends
Responsible for accurate till processes and procedures.
Developing self and team’s capability and capacity to create career and succession strength
Recognising, celebrating, and rewarding individual and team success and leading democratic vitality
Ensuring a consistent approach when managing performance.
Establishing and building effective relationships with stakeholders, gaining customer feedback to drive continuous improvement
Delivering and promoting healthy and balanced food information so Partners act as ambassadors
Ensuring full compliance with JLP Catering policies and legislation
Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety Regulations
Carrying out due diligence tasks and keep accurate due diligence checks and records
Partner Dining Room weekly financial reporting
Processing orders for Partner Dining Rooms
Responsible for the Partner Dining Rooms Purchase Orders and Invoicing
What you’ll need:
Level 2 Food Safety
Operational experience in Dining Rooms and/or the Hospitality industry
Stakeholder management or senior influencing skills
Experience in leading a team
What else you may bring:
Food Safety Level 3
