Description

What will you be doing?

You will be an ambassador for our John Lewis products when providing a quote to our customers. After providing your quote you will use your exceptional selling & service skills to convert the quote into a sale. You will work primarily independently so you will be managing your own time and will need to ensure your day runs smoothly. However, even though you will work alone, you will have the full support of your team and people manager.

You will be driving between our John Lewis branches and Service Building in your region and our customer homes which means a driving licence is required for this role. The areas  this role covers are Outer London - The areas you will be working in are High Wycombe and Oxford.

Fixed Term and Permanent roles available

You will be required to occasionally visit a John Lewis branch to ensure you are up to date with your product knowledge.

This role is subject to the following pre-employment screening: 3 year references. Basic disclosure. DVLA check. 

What you'll have

  • Full, clean driving license

  • Excellent Customer service skills

  • IT literacy

  • Communication skills

  • Confidence working independently

What else could you bring?

  • Proven sales experience

  • Understanding of window dressings

  • Experience working with home products

Duties and Responsibilities

What’s the role about?

Our Home Services Partners play an important role in ensuring our customers receive an unforgettable John Lewis experience. As one of our Estimators you will provide accurate estimates for the supply and fitting of John Lewis window products in our customers’ homes. If you don’t have Estimator experience already, full training will be provided. Using your proven customer service experience you will be fully focused on inspiring and delighting our customers. Attention to detail and clear communication is key to ensuring your customers gain your trust while you are with them.
