This role can be based in Bracknell or Victoria, with expectation to travel to other locations as the role requires.

Duties & Responsibilities

As the Head of Partner (Employee) Lifecycle, your primary focus will be to develop a compelling, sustainable and affordable employment lifecycle that supports the achievement of Principle One and the Partnership talent strategy. You will ensure that the Partnership is able to recruit and retain market-leading talent, and enact workforce planning that ensures that we have the right people in the right place at the right time, delivering maximum commercial value.

You will be responsible for employment policy (including Diversity & Inclusion) across the Partner lifecycle (hire to retire), assuring the Executive Director, People that the standards and policies are in place to meet our regulatory and constitutional requirements, and enable the culture needed to meet our commercial ambitions. This includes retaining its unique identity as a co-owned business at all levels of the organisation.

Job Requirements

As the Head of Partner Lifecycle you will have a wide range of responsibilities, which will include:

- Setting clear intent, direction and guardrails for the Partner lifecycle to achieve outcomes aligned to the Partnership strategy.
- Designing and setting the target outcomes and experiences for Partners, defining our employer brand, offering differentiated and engaging propositions, delivering on Partnership and People strategy requirements. Inputting into these strategies to ensure that the Partner lifecycle is central to the strategic direction.
- Partnering the Executive Director, People and wider Executive team to consider what needs the business has of its workforce today and in the future, and to develop approaches to resourcing that enable that vision.
- Curating and ensuring the execution of a recruitment journey that maximises effectiveness at all touchpoints for all user groups - be they candidates, hiring managers or professional (service centre) users.
- Supporting the Profession Lead for People to build capability and establish ways of working across the People function to deliver customer and business outcomes.
- Ensuring that employment policies safeguard the business and Constitutional standard, fully considering legislation and emerging case law.
- Influencing leaders in all areas to follow employment policies, communicating the clear reasons for them being in place and consequences of non-compliance.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

- Significant experience in a senior HR role leading the people and employment policy agenda
- Broad knowledge of trends in employment
- A commercial and evidence based approach to drive strategic decision making
- Ability to lead in a matrix environment
