Duties & Responsibilities

Are you a talented Head Chef - keen to join us and become part of our Senior Hotel Management Team?

You will achieve a great work/life balance, working 5 days a week in our John Lewis Partnership hotel with stunning views over Lake Windermere. We have 24 bedrooms, available to our Partners and their guests.

You'll lead an immediate team of 6 and, as our dining offer is such a big part of the guests stay, play an important role in the overall running and success of the hotel.

Relevant professional Chef qualifications: City & Guilds diplomas in professional cookery, BTEC HNC in
professional cookery or equivalent
Commercial awareness
Passion for food
Motivated to lead your team
Compliance with all food safety policies, procedures and practices

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

The role involves using knowledge, experience and expertise to support and train the Catering team to deliver quality food to a required standard
