Duties & Responsibilities

As the Go to Market Lead, you will be responsible for defining and leading the development of customer and commercial propositions, ensuring the translation of these into digitally led products. You will also take a lead in clearly articulating the product vision and the user experience that is required, enabling this to be translated into the final product. With the ability to create a high level business case which supports your initial research based hypotheses, you will create the 'reasons to believe' that take into account some potentially different emerging business models. Formulating detailed commercial plans and developing a clear route to market strategy, you will bring appropriate insight and challenge to all features of the product build across technical development, UX/UI and 3rd party integrations.
As a GTM Lead you will be responsible for a theme that could have multiple propositions under depending on the size and scope.

Job Requirements

Proposition Owner:
- Define the proposition vision clearly stating the benefits to the customer and the business through a clear articulation of the market and segments that the proposition will serve and how we will 'win'.
- Hold a clear view of the target customer at all times able to clearly explain their missions, pains and gains and how the proposition creates value for these target customers.
- Develop high level business case to support the initial research based hypotheses. Create the 'reasons to believe' that take into account the potentially different emerging business models (for example marketplace).

Product Owner:
- Clearly articulate the product vision and the user experience that is required enabling this to be translated into the final product through great UX/UI. Create a product roadmap that moves from MVP through customer testing towards the final vision.
- Bring appropriate insight and challenge to all features of the the product build across
technical development, UX/UI and 3rd party integrations.
- Develop and hold the overall plan encompassing all elements of technical and non-technical build ensuring dependencies are understood and managed appropriately.

Commercial Leadership:
- Formulate a detailed commercial plan including pricing strategies that have the potential to deliver an acceptable net operating profit/ROIC.
- Develop clear route to market strategy in combination with Marketing input that delivers a commercial cost of acquisition and retention.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills/experience:
- Development of commercial proposition
- IT project methodology especially Agile
- Proven track record of extensive stakeholder management

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

Although not essential, the following skills/experience will be advantageous:
- Developing digitally led propositions including Application development
- Customer pricing modelling
