What's the role about?
Duties and Responsibilities:Herbert Parkinson General Operatives are specialists in the design and manufacture of soft furnishing products.This role requires someone who is motivated and proactive with an excellent eye for detail and someone who is a great team player. The successful candidate will join a team responsible for all aspects of manufacturing the products while achieving the department requirements on performance, efficiency, and quality.
What will you be doing?Job RequirementsResponsibilities to include but not limited to;- To Maintain high levels of housekeeping in your immediate work area.- To be flexible and move tasks throughout the shift as work dictates.- To support other sections within the department as and when required.- To perform any other duties as required by managers.-To contribute to a safe working environment by being up to date on all H&S training requirements.
What you will haveRequired essential experience skills and qualifications:- Effective communicator.- Demonstrates drive and enthusiasm.- Willing to tackle difficult issues.- Is creative.- Is able to build effective relationships.
Desirable experience skills and qualifications:-Previous experience working in a warehouse or production environment.

All roles have various Labouring duties.
Please note the assessment process will include a virtual interview. If successful you will have a 2nd stage practical assessment in the Warehouse to assess Machinist, cutter and Pinner skills.

Pay Rate £9.00 to £11.42 + 7.5% Shift premium.
