What's the role about?
Duties and Responsibilities:
Herbert Parkinson General Operatives are specialists in the design and manufacture of soft furnishing products.This role requires someone who is motivated and proactive with an excellent eye for detail and someone who is a great team player. This is a very varied role where you will be working in the Roller Blinds Department. This involves cutting and joining the blinds, working with the fabrics and moving around the department while achieving the department requirements on performance, efficiency and quality.
What you will be doing?
As a General Operative you will be:
Maintaining high levels of housekeeping in your immediate work area.
Flexible and move tasks throughout the shift as work dictates.
Supporting other sections within the department as and when required.
Performing any other duties as required by managers.
Contributing to a safe working environment by being up to date on all H&S training requirements
