We are currently recruiting for two really exciting temporary roles for our beautiful Hotel in Cookham, part of the John Lewis Partnership. We have both Front of House positions and Pool Assistant opportunities available. We would love for you to join us from May 2023 onwards with contracts ending early September 2023.
The pay range for the roles is £20,545- £23,000 per annum based on working 37.5 hours per week. This is equivalent to £10.50- £11.75 per hour.
Hours of work - Front of HouseWe have full-time and part-time hours available which will include some evening and weekend working. Earliest start time will be 07:00, with a latest finish time 23:30 (or 22:00 for under 18s).
Hours of work - Pool AssistantWe have full-time and part-time hours available which will include some evening and weekend working. Earliest start time will be 07:00, with the latest finish time of 20:00
Front of house What's the role about
Would you like to join our Front of House team, working in our restaurant and bars? You'll need to be flexible to work in different areas and really enjoy giving excellent customer service to all our guests.
A great restaurant or bar experience can make all the difference to enhancing our guests' stay and you’ll be the friendly face of our hotel. You’ll receive on-the-job training and every day will be different.

Pool and Camping Assistant What's the role about
Would you like to spend the summer outside? If so, why not apply for our Pool Assistant role. You will provide first rate experience at the pool and in other areas of the hotel, through the focus and delivery of market leading customer service, whilst adhering to health and safety policy.
This role would suit someone who is hardworking and responsible, with a good eye for detail and a passion for delivering a great customer experience. An assertive individual who remains calm under pressure and can manage crowds confidently.
