This role will be required to work in Victoria for two days a week, Bracknell for two days a week and one day a week can be worked from home.

Please note internally this role is known as 'Finance Manager, Business Partnering'.

Duties & Responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Finance Business Partner to join our team here at the John Lewis Partnership, and support our IT function. Our Finance Business Partners provide insight and expert advice, influencing the decision-making of our senior business leaders.

Job Requirements

In this role, you will focus on supporting our IT Operations and Delivery team, monitoring and tracking their Partner and Contractor Resource costs versus budget, and bringing this data to life.

Building strong relationships and establishing credibility with your stakeholders, you'll effectively challenge current decision-making when needed, highlighting areas of risk and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Required essential experience skills and qualifications

- CIMA (or equivalent) qualification
- Business Partnering experience
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder management with evidence of having worked in a fast-moving, strongly results driven environment
- Good influencing and team leadership skills
- Able to assimilate, comment on and make proposals which apply data and business intelligence
- Highly developed analytical skills
- Ability to work at pace and evaluate risk

Required desirable experience skills and qualifications

- Retail or FMCG experience ideally having had exposure to multi-site, multi-channel and multidivision working
- Project/team management capability in a fast moving/changing environment
