What’s the role about?
At a pivotal time in the Partnerships history, we are looking for an Executive Talent Acquisition Lead in the People function, to work closely with the Chairman and Executive team to understand and build an Executive talent acquisition strategy. This is a pivotal role in our People function, ensuring the Partnership has a healthy pipeline of talent for Executive roles and reliable succession and development plans in place.
In this role, you will lead on all Executive hiring, partnering with Executive Directors and Senior Talent Partners to understand the requirements for talent acquisition and collaborate with the relevant teams across the People function to translate insight into plans. You will have developed a good understanding of the Partner Priorities and will use this understanding to make well informed decisions that support key business objectives.
We are seeking someone who is a natural talent scout, who can build and maintain a network of candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management, understanding how to tap into more diverse talent pools, accessing inactive candidates, and creating a distinct and differentiated talent attraction proposition.

What will you be doing?
Lead on all Executive hiring, partnering EDs and STPs to identify future capability and gaps/depth within the Executive succession plans.
Manage all aspects of attraction and onboarding for executive hires directly, ensuring the end-to-end candidate experience (including selection, onboarding and induction) reflects our ambitions for the Partnership and reduces our reliance on third parties.
Own, develop and define the Executive (L1-L3) Talent Acquisition approach and practice, collaborating with the enterprise wide Talent Acquisition Lead, to ensure a professionalised process and approach which compliments our enterprise wide (L4-10) practices.
Thought leadership, development and implementation of an executive selection and assessment approach, ensuring our executive hiring decisions are in line with our Leadership expectations, values and Partnership Purpose.
Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive market research and on-going relationship management; understand how to tap into more diverse talent pools, accessing inactive candidates, and creating a distinct and differentiated talent attraction proposition.

What you'll have?
Experience of leading an executive talent acquisition strategy, using external insight to influence direction.
Demonstrates substantial knowledge of wider HR practices and industry leading practices in Talent Acquisition and Executive search.
Experience of Board level/senior specialist recruitment which might have been gained as an HR Business Partner or a Headhunter or in-house recruiter.
Experience of working with senior leaders to understand strategic workforce plans that will assure the future success of the Partnership.
Knowledge and practical experience of building and structuring senior level remuneration packages.
Experienced in relationship management with external providers
What else could you bring?
Experience of senior talent management and development work; recognising the opportunity to expand influence/value within the talent space for example, integrating executive hires beyond initial onboarding, supporting development in role and future career mobility.
Experience of coaching senior leaders
