Data and how we use it to drive value is key to the Partnership's vitality and will be a backbone to our future success, whether driving improved customer propositions, better marketing, slicker operations, or lower costs.

We are looking for a Partner to lead our Data community driving the changes needed to secure this significant opportunity.

As the Director, Data & Analytics, you will build the direction and framework of our data to support our insight teams. You will need to be skilled at working horizontally across the business. You will build our data and insight capability and talent pool working with both divisions (John Lewis & Waitrose) and Group and you will understand what they need and how you can deliver it. You will be responsible for defining the business need and IT requirements together with our IT architecture teams.

Job Requirements

This role requires an individual who has strong knowledge and skill within the Data sector, can see Data implications across a broad spectrum of areas, and can easily link data, insight and commercial value.

The Partnership's ultimate purpose is the happiness of all its members, through their worthwhile and satisfying employment in a successful business. Because the Partnership is owned in trust for its members, they share the responsibilities of ownership as well as its rewards - profit, knowledge and power.
