What would I be accountable for?

As a member of our Shopping Journeys Product Domain, you will be accountable for leading the full life-cycle of your product area, owning the vision, supporting strategy and communication with business stakeholders. 

What will you be doing?

As Digital Product Manager for Wine, your initial focus will be leading the Product Team through the development and launch of our new Waitrose Cellar digital proposition. 

Along with optimising this new improved proposition, you will be accountable for creating and delivering a product growth strategy, working closely with the wider business to realise Waitrose's ambition of becoming the top wine retailer of choice for our target customers.

The Partnership offers blended & flexible working arrangements enabling partners a mix of remote working and office working across our Bracknell & London offices. The Partnership will support all Partners to explore how they could work flexibly to suit their wishes or reasonable adjustment requirements.

What you’ll have (required experience)

We are looking for an experienced Digital Product professional with a deep knowledge and a love for Product. 

Driven by data and customer insight you will have experience using UX and Service Design techniques to create and deliver intuitive digital customer experiences and launch new value propositions. It will be key that your experience spans the e2e customer journey, covering both front end / back end development along with integration into existing back office stock, fulfilment, customer care and financial processes.

You will also have experience using Lean Product principles to solve customer problems through experimentation and have an innovative and creative mind-set.

  • Demonstrable Product Experience is mandatory

  • You are a confident, clear communicator (both verbal and written) who can create the right narrative to share your ideas at every level in an organisation.

  • You are able to develop a rapport and trust with business owners and key stakeholders

  • You love to learn and are constantly looking for opportunities to grow yourself, your impact and the Product Management community of practice

  • Act as a role model for the Product Manager discipline and take responsibility for mentoring and support those who are new to the team
