What you’ll be doing: 

  • You will be accountable for coordinating and managing compliance with external control frameworks for the Supply Chain, ensuring that any recommendations made as a result of audit findings are understood and implemented, through inspirational leadership of Section Managers and Partners

  • Monitoring the data created within the control framework, you will identify opportunities to focus on the reduction of damage, process driven stock loss and improvement of accuracy within Fenny Lock National Distribution Centre. 

  • Proactively working to identify and take opportunities to reduce damage and process write-offs, putting strategies in place to mitigate emerging trends and patterns

  • As part of the Fenny Lock Leadership Team, implementing operational strategy and influencing future vision for Fenny Lock in line with the Partnership Plan and Partner Priorities

  • Engaging and managing stakeholders across the supply chain network to ensure the reverse flow of stock is actoned in a timely manner 

  • Maximising network storage capacity through stock control and management.

  • Ensuring that all mandatory and regulatory stock counts are completed on time and in full

  • Providing site management with clear analysis and transparent data to enable tactical and strategic decision making to drive both stock and inventory and continuous improvement

  • Influencing the strategic decisions for inventory control for Fenny Lock to ensure stock loss is kept to a minimum

What you’ll need:

  • Previous experience of working within a logistics/supply chain environment

  • Managing customer/client relationships

  • Management of a change agenda in a logistics/supply chain environment

What you may bring: 

  • Previous experience managing semi-automated or automated operations

  • Capable of covering other operations to provide support as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

As a Department Manager Stock Inventory you will be responsible for effectively supporting and influencing the departmental teams to deliver site and business objectives of having the right stock and resource in the right place at the right time

Acting as the conduit for Inventory Management within the Fenny Lock NDC and being accountable for managing any change required from the Central Governing bodies (such as Customer Service, Profit Protection, Group Financial Control, Management Accounting and Internal Audit).
